A Guy Suddenly Starts Closing the Distance... Anime The Ramparts of Ice Episode 1 Synopsis & Preview Stills Released

The synopsis and preview stills for Episode 1 of the anime The Ramparts of Ice have been released.

The original work is a manga by Kocha Agasawa (published under Shueisha Jump Comics). It tells a "frustratingly relatable" youth drama about high school student Koyuki Hikawa, who struggles with social interaction and builds walls around herself, and Minato Amamiya, a boy who doesn’t seem to understand personal space. The series has surpassed 160 million views on LINE Manga and 2 million copies in circulation. The TV anime will begin its nationwide simultaneous broadcast on April 2 (Thu) at 11:56 PM on 28 TBS-affiliated stations.

Additionally, on April 1—the night before the first episode airs—a special program titled "TV Anime The Ramparts of Ice Pre-Broadcast Special" will be streamed on the "TBS Anime" YouTube channel starting at 9:00 PM. The program will feature Anna Nagase, Fuka Izumi, Shoya Chiba, and Satoshi Inomata.
