The Studio Ghibli-produced short animation "Majo no Tani no Yoru" will begin screening on July 8, 2026 (Wed) at Cinema Orion in Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse at Ghibli Park. In conjunction with this premiere, it has also been announced that Ghibli Park tickets will undergo a partial renewal starting with July admissions.

Co-directed by Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita, this film tells a story set in the "Valley of Witches" area of Ghibli Park. It marks Studio Ghibli’s first original short animation created exclusively for the park. To view the film, visitors must reserve and purchase a ticket that includes admission to Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse.

On the opening day, July 8 (Wed), a special screening of "Majo no Tani no Yoru" followed by a stage greeting featuring directors Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita will be held. During this event, both directors will share behind-the-scenes production stories. Participation requires advance registration and is limited to the first 150 applicants.

Regarding the ticket renewal, the coverage of the existing area ticket "Ghibli Park: Valley of Witches & Mononoke Village" will be changed. It will now allow entry to all three special buildings in the Valley of Witches (The Okino Residence, Howl's Castle, and The Witch's House). Consequently, ticket prices will be revised.

Furthermore, a new multi-area set ticket, the "Ghibli Park Satoyama Stroll Ticket," will be introduced. This ticket grants entry to the Valley of Witches, Mononoke Village, and the summit of Dondoko Forest (Dondoko-do). While it does not include entry to the special buildings, visitors can use the shops and dining facilities within these areas. Additionally, the 15:00 entry slot for Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse for both the "Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium" and "Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Standard" will be discontinued.

Tickets for July admissions reflecting the renewal, as well as tickets for the "Majo no Tani no Yoru" Special Screening & Stage Greeting, will go on sale starting May 10 (Sun) at 14:00.
