"Jump TOON," a vertical-scrolling manga app from the Jump Group, is currently taking over the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. The promotion will run until May 31 as part of the "Jump TOON 2nd Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival" celebrating its second year since launch.
Inside the Marunouchi Line trains, popular titles such as "Last Boss Girl Akari" and "Perfect Number" make an appearance.
Commercials featuring narrations by voice actors are also being broadcast inside the trains, voiced by Natsuki Hanae, Kensho Ono, and Takuya Eguchi. These narrated versions are also available on YouTube.
"Jump TOON" will celebrate its second anniversary on May 29. The Thanksgiving Festival features three major campaigns: making all chapters of original serialized works free to read, a daily lottery called "Jump TOON Jumbo" to win Amazon Gift Cards worth 100,000 yen, and a giveaway for limited-edition acrylic stands.
