"You and I Are Polar Opposites" Season 2, 3rd PV Released! Mega Shinnosuke's ED Theme Song Also Revealed for the First Time

The 3rd PV for the second season of the anime "You and I Are Polar Opposites," scheduled to air from July 5, has been released. In addition, the ending theme song has been decided as "Unmei no Kimi" by Mega Shinnosuke.

"You and I Are Polar Opposites" is based on the romantic comedy manga by Koucha Agasawa, which was serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). The story depicts school life with friends and the journey of two "polar opposites"—Suzuki, a girl who is always energetic but overly conscious of others' eyes, and Tani, a quiet boy who can clearly state his opinion—as they slowly deepen their understanding of each other while showing mutual respect.

The newly released 3rd PV portrays the bittersweet feelings of Suzuki and Tani as they become third-year high school students and experience changes alongside the beginning of their exam preparations.

Mega Shinnosuke Comment

I am Mega Shinnosuke, the singer-songwriter who had the privilege of handling the ending theme song, "Unmei no Kimi."

While thoroughly enjoying the original manga, I agonized over what kind of song to create. However, after discussions with the anime production team, I wrote this song aiming for rock music that can give a supportive push to people spending their youth just like the characters in this story.
