Hell Mode ~A Hardcore Gamer Becomes Peerless in Another World with Extreme Settings~ is an isekai fantasy work based on the light novel by author Hamuo and illustrator Mo. The ultra-high-difficulty isekai adventure begins when Kenichi Yamada, a 35-year-old salaryman who loves games, decides that he "cannot be satisfied with easy games" and starts playing on the highest difficulty level, "Hell Mode," only to be reincarnated into another world as a young serf boy named Allen.

In a harsh world where neither strategy guides nor internet forums exist, this innovative story of a former hardcore gamer climbing to become the strongest gained wide popularity. Following the broadcast of the TV anime's first season in January, the 2nd Season was quickly scheduled to air in July of the same year.
