'I'm Definitely Going!' 'There's a Mysterious Big Brother (Choso) Drink…' — Fans React to Jujutsu Kaisen Immersive Event Opening August 7

"JUJUTSU KAISEN WORLD," an event where fans can enjoy the world of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen through a variety of content, will be held from August 7 to September 27 at the immersive retail facility Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo. The announcement drew comments on social media saying "I want to go," along with reactions to the food and drink menu.

The anime Jujutsu Kaisen is a smash-hit series based on the manga by Gege Akutami. Depicting the brutal battles of jujutsu sorcerers who exorcise curses born from humanity's negative emotions, the series became explosively popular both in Japan and overseas following the broadcast of its TV anime series and the release of its feature film. It continues to draw attention, with new seasons having been announced, and a wide range of media tie-ins, including video game adaptations and various collaborations, are being actively rolled out.

The event will feature a range of programs focusing on content from Season 1 through Season 2's "Shibuya Incident" arc, including original merchandise, food, attractions, mini-games, and exhibits. Visitors can enjoy an immersive "trial enrollment" attraction, mini-games inspired by the techniques and characters from the series, an exhibit that lets fans retrace the story of Jujutsu Kaisen, and a photo spot recreating the interior of Jujutsu High — offering an experience that feels like stepping into the world of the series.

The newly drawn artwork features seven characters: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Kento Nanami, Satoru Gojo, Kenjaku, and Sukuna. Original mini-character illustrations by illustrator Tomoya Mizoguchi will also be featured, with merchandise using the artwork, as well as original desserts and food themed around the series, being sold.

After the Tokyo venue closes, the event will be held in Osaka from October 9 to November 23, in Hakata from December 4 to February 23, 2027, and in Yokohama from May 21 to June 27, 2027. Further details will be announced in stages on the official website and official X account.

The announcement drew a big reaction on X from fans eagerly looking forward to the event, with comments such as "I'm so excited for this event, I'm definitely going," "Whoa, this looks so fun, I love that it's an immersive event!" and "I can't wait to hear Itadori and Gojo's school-broadcast-style voice lines."
