Enjoy Reliving the Story's Journey! Solo Leveling Exhibition Report

The Solo Leveling exhibition is being held on the 4th floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya in Tokyo from July 17. This article focuses on photos taken at the preview event held the day before the exhibition opened, introducing the highlights of the exhibit.

Solo Leveling's webtoon version, based on a Korean novel, became a massive hit in Japan as well. The TV anime adaptation aired its first season starting in January 2024, followed by a second season from January 2025.

Gates connecting other dimensions to the real world have appeared all over the world, and people known as Hunters, who have awakened superhuman abilities, battle the monsters that inhabit the dungeons inside these Gates. The story follows the protagonist, Sung Jin-woo, a low-ranked Hunter who gains the power to level up on his own during a raid in a Double Dungeon.

At the Solo Leveling exhibition, visitors take on the role of an E-rank Hunter and follow in the footsteps of Sung Jin-woo's growth from the lowest-ranked Hunter, reliving the various dungeons and trials depicted in the story. It's an interactive exhibition where participants progress and level up just like Sung Jin-woo.

Upon stepping into the venue, visitors move through areas recreating key points from the story, such as the Double Dungeon and the Cartenon Temple, experiencing them through video presentations and decor.

In Igris's Chamber, a statue and the Monarch's throne are on display, and participants who have leveled up can also sit in the throne as the Shadow Monarch.

In the area where visitors can experience Shadow Extraction, the video presentation unfolds when participants shout the command "Arise." In addition, in the area recreating the Jeju Island Raid arc, the birth of the Ant King is expressed through a sculpture.

In the area recreating the Hunter rank re-examination site, the measuring device used to re-examine Sung Jin-woo's rank is also on display, and visitors can separately turn a capsule-toy machine to get a sticker of the rank they receive.

An area recreating Sung Jin-woo's home has also been set up, where visitors can take photos of the dining table and other features.

After finishing the exhibition, visitors can also enjoy the goods shop and cafe space. Merchandise including the "Tokyo-Exclusive Hunter Box," packed with a variety of items, is available for purchase, and the cafe offers concept drinks.

This exhibition offers a chance to relive and enjoy the world of Solo Leveling, so fans of the series are encouraged to visit while it's running.
