Even When Her Cigarettes Are Hidden, Yani-Neko Doesn't Give Up... Anime Chainsmoker Cat Episode 5 Synopsis and Teaser Stills Released

Synopsis, teaser stills, and a preview video have been released for Episode 5, "Nyar Going to the Unexplored Region, Nya," of the TV anime Chainsmoker Cat, currently broadcasting on TOKYO MX, BS11, AT-X, and other channels.

This series is based on the manga of the same name by Nyan Nyan Factory, currently serialized in Kodansha's Young Magazine. Set in a world where humans and beastfolk coexist, it is a comedy depicting the lazy, trashy daily lives of Yani-Neko (CV: Yūko Natsuyoshi), a beastfolk who lives lazily while smoking cigarettes, and the cat-eared residents surrounding her.

The TV anime Chainsmoker Cat has been broadcasting since July 2026 on TOKYO MX and BS11 every Thursday at 24:30, and on AT-X since July 25 every Saturday at 24:30 (repeat broadcast: every Thursday at 28:00). Streaming has been released sequentially on Netflix and other platforms every Thursday at 25:00 starting July 2.
