The synopsis, preview stills, and episode visual for Episode 5 of the anime "The Ghost in the Shell" have been released.

"The Ghost in the Shell" series is a sci-fi franchise that has expanded into various works, including animation and a live-action Hollywood movie, beginning with the comic published by Masamune Shirow in 1989 and followed by Director Mamoru Oshii's animated film "GHOST IN THE SHELL" (1995). This title is the latest TV anime series in the franchise, currently broadcasting every Tuesday night from 11:00 PM during the "Ka-anival!!" block on Kantele/Fuji TV affiliate stations nationwide starting July 7.

Kusanagi and her team head toward the northern tip to monitor the combat cyborg Coyle Krasnov. In order to uncover Coyle's objective and the corruption hidden behind the underground factory expansion by Sagawa Electronics, Kusanagi heads to Sagawa Electronics headquarters, while Batou and the others head to the underground factory.
