The latest details on the Japanese dub of the China-made anime Paw & Palaces have been unveiled, with episodes 1 through 4 set to air back-to-back starting at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10 on TOKYO MX and other stations. A teaser visual, character PV, and character visuals have also been released alongside the announcement.
The anime is based on a manga inspired by the real cats living in the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. It is an adventure fantasy following six cats belonging to the secret organization Zi Jin: Yu Miao Fang, tucked away in a corner of the Forbidden City, as they stand against the evil Black Owl to protect Bukka, the memories that dwell within cultural artifacts.
From episode 5 onward, the series is scheduled to air weekly on Wednesdays at 11:30 p.m. starting October 14, and will also be made available successively on various streaming platforms.
The newly released character PV and visuals feature the protagonist, Soubi, voiced by Kazuki Ura. The footage is packed with the charm of Soubi, the leader of Zi Jin: Yu Miao Fang and its sharpest military strategist, who combines calm judgment with a spirit of adventure. PVs and visuals for the other main characters are also scheduled to be released successively.
