Looking Back on the Colorful Trajectory of the Series! "Honey Lemon Soda Series Finale Exhibition" Report

The "Honey Lemon Soda Series Finale Exhibition" is currently being held from September 11 at the Event Space on the 4th floor of the Seibu Shibuya Store's B Building in Tokyo.

Mayu Murata's youth love story Honey Lemon Soda, serialized in Shueisha's "Ribon" since 2015, concluded its run in April 2026. The 31st compiled volume containing the final chapter was also released in May of the same year. It is a highly popular series with over 16.5 million copies in circulation, and it also received a TV anime adaptation that began airing in January 2025.

This exhibition allows visitors to experience the relatable world of the series while looking back at the story through the famous scenes that have been drawn over the years. We will introduce the highlights of the exhibition, focusing on photos taken during the press preview.

The entrance to the venue was designed to make visitors feel as though they were stepping into Hachimitsu High School—where the protagonist, Uka Ishimori, enrolled and met the lemon-blonde boy, Kai Miura—as fellow students. While character introduction panels and other items were displayed, the exhibition continued with a recreation of the scene where Uka and Kai first met.

As if to represent Uka's feelings gradually changing after meeting Kai, the lighting inside the venue also progressively takes on more vibrant colors.

The famous scenes Uka and Kai have woven together throughout the story were extensively displayed, including some original artwork. There was also an abundance of photo spots, such as a recreated space of the cultural festival and their matching lock screens.

A plastic bottle of lemon soda, a key item in the story, is also on display, which is a must-see for fans.

In the merchandise corner, a wide variety of original goods featuring newly drawn illustrations for this exhibition were available. Items ranging from standard merchandise like acrylic stands and postcards to reproduction art prints of color illustrations drawn in refreshing hues are on sale.

The content was a fitting tribute for an event commemorating the conclusion of Honey Lemon Soda, which has been serialized for about 10 and a half years, so fans of the series should definitely visit during the exhibition period.
