Advance images and the synopsis for Episode 1 of the TV anime Tank Chair have been released.

The anime is based on the manga by Manabu Yashiro, serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius (Kodansha), which has surpassed 1 million copies in circulation worldwide. After shielding his younger sister (voiced by Minori Fujidera) from a bullet, the world's strongest assassin, Nagi Taira (voiced by Koki Uchiyama), was left unconscious, but he has a special condition: he regains consciousness when someone directs "killing intent" at him. To bring about his full awakening, the siblings take on powerful enemies in "rehabilitation" using a modified wheelchair, in a violent action story of killing intent and sibling bonds. The TV anime begins airing on Sunday, October 4, on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels.

■Episode 1 Synopsis: Nagi Taira, once the world's strongest assassin, was left unconscious after protecting his younger sister, Shizuka Taira, and now lives in a wheelchair. Shizuka works as a broker for assassins, taking on kill contracts, and brings her brother to the battlefield under the name of "rehabilitation." Hoping for her brother's full awakening, Shizuka accepts a job to eliminate Goro Arashiyama, the boss of a vicious gang of robbers.
