Minato and Koyuki Drift Apart... The Ramparts of Ice Episode 16 Synopsis and Preview Cuts Released

Synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 16 of the anime The Ramparts of Ice have arrived.

The series is based on the hugely popular comic by Kocha Agasawa, which has surpassed 190 million cumulative views on LINE Manga (as of April) and 3 million cumulative copies in circulation (including digital; as of the end of August; published by Shueisha under Jump Comics).

Koyuki Hikawa is a high school student who struggles to connect with others and puts up a wall between herself and everyone around her. She spends her days quietly, hanging out with no one except her childhood friend Miki Azumi, until a boy named Minato Amamiya suddenly appears and keeps closing the distance between them for some reason. As they grow closer, Koyuki and Minato come to have feelings for each other that go beyond friendship. Yota, meanwhile, has told Miki the feelings he has held for years. Those who confess their feelings and those who keep them hidden in their hearts: each of their arrows only speeds up the misunderstandings. Koyuki, the lone girl who keeps to herself; Miki, the former school idol; Minato, the boy with no sense of personal space; and Yota, the kind and gentle basketball club member. Awkward, frustrating, and yet endearing, this ensemble drama woven from youthful misunderstandings moves forward.

The series is currently airing simultaneously nationwide on 28 TBS network stations every Thursday at 11:56 p.m.
