Accosted by the Mafia While Working in the Royal Capital: Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden Episode 2 Synopsis and Teaser Cuts Revealed

Teaser cuts and a synopsis have been released for Episode 2 of the TV anime Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden.

The series is based on a popular work that has surpassed 80 million cumulative page views on "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" and 2.4 million copies in circulation across the series. It tells the story of a hero who once even went so far as to slay a god, reborn as Nia (voiced by Honoka Inoue), a sickly young lady of noble birth, who in her second life continues to seek out strong opponents and cheerfully throws herself into battle. The TV anime has been airing on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS Nippon TV since Tuesday, October 6, and ABEMA streams each episode ahead of other platforms every Tuesday from 9:55 p.m.

■Episode 2 "A Job in the Royal Capital" Synopsis
Nia has been chosen to play opposite Sharro, a new actress with the theater troupe "Ice Rose," and has come to the royal capital. Though Sharro, overly anxious about her first leading role and trying too hard, treats her like an amateur, Nia soothes her irritated maid Rinokis and devotes herself earnestly to rehearsals. With the performance drawing near, Nia and Sharro are set to film a promotional program for Magic Vision, but an incident occurs near the shoot in which they are accosted by the mafia. Citing self-defense, Nia gleefully overpowers the mafia men with her overwhelming combat ability.
