KADOKAWA WORLD MANGA, a new label that delivers manga currently serialized in Japan in English, opened on the web manga platform Kadocomi on Friday, October 30.

The label offers the first and latest chapters of selected works serialized and published in Japanese, free in English. Until now, multilingual preview chapters were shared mainly on social media, and many readers overseas responded that they wanted to read the latest chapters of serialized works in English as well. The label was created in response to those requests. Readers overseas can now enjoy Japanese manga without waiting for the English-language volumes to be released.

The lineup will feature carefully selected English translations of notable Japanese titles, as well as popular works that overseas creators have published in Japan but that have not yet been translated into English. Serializations starting at launch include the dark fantasy BRAIN ALIVE by Rafal Jaki and others (Jaki is a Polish creator who served as executive producer of the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), the action comedy Kung Fu Kung Fool by Indian creator masterlynx, and the fantasy The Book-Hearing Spica by Japanese manga artist Kimiko Ueno, which follows an elf bookbinder. Also to be released is A Peach Offering for the Imperial Court, which has drawn attention with nominations for digital comic awards.

In addition, English editions of works announced through KADOKAWA WORLD MANGA ATELIER (KWMA), a project aimed at discovering overseas creators and supporting their creative work, are planned for release under the same label. The existing serialized titles ELDEN RING The Road to the Erdtree and Suikoden STAR LEAP have also been consolidated under the label.
