The manga Hiragi-san's House of Vampires (serialized in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine) is getting a TV anime adaptation. To coincide with the announcement, a Halloween-themed super teaser visual has been released.

The manga is by Miki Yoshikawa, known for works such as Yankee-kun and Megane-chan and Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, and currently serializing A Couple of Cuckoos in Weekly Shonen Magazine. It is a home romantic comedy in which Shota Minamoto, a middle school student living in a children's home, is taken in by the Hiragi family, whose members are all vampires, and begins living together with three beautiful sisters.

Ahead of the anime adaptation announcement, a teaser campaign titled "An Invitation from the Hiragi Family" had been running on the official X account since late at night on October 29. The super teaser visual, unveiled on Halloween, depicts Yukie, the second daughter of the Hiragi family, closing in on the neck of protagonist Shota in a bewitching yet adorable pose, set against a beautiful moonlit night.

Commenting on the adaptation, original author Yoshikawa expressed delight: "Among my works, this one has a somewhat dark and aesthetic worldview as its theme, but I think it will really shine as an anime, so I'm already very much looking forward to it." The author also highlighted what to look out for: "I've put a lot of care into crafting the dark nighttime world in contrast to the bright daytime world, so I'd like people to pay attention to that, including the atmosphere of the moonlight. And above all, I hope you'll be enchanted by the vampire characters...!"

To celebrate the TV anime adaptation, the official anime X account is running a giveaway campaign offering novelty items featuring the super teaser visual.
