ABEMA has announced an exclusive early streaming of the upcoming anime "Nyaight of the Living Cat," which is set to begin broadcasting in July 2025. Additionally, a new promotional video (PV) for the series has been released.

"Nyaight of the Living Cat" is an anime adaptation of the manga of the same name, written by Hawkman and illustrated by Mecha-Roots. The series, which is currently serialized in "Monthly Comic Garden" and "MAGCOMI" (MAG Garden), is set in a world where a virus causes a "Nyandemic," turning humans into cats upon contact. The story unfolds around the struggle between cats and humanity.

The series is overseen by Takashi Miike, a film director known for works like "Crows Zero" and "Lesson of the Evil," often hailed as a master of violence. The production is handled by OLM, known for their work on "Pokémon" and "Summertime Render." The director is Tomohiro Kamitani, known for "MIX MEISEI STORY: Second Summer, Beyond the Sky," with series composition by Shingo Irie of "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth." Character design is by Takao Maki of "Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls," and music is composed by Koji Endo, who frequently collaborates with Miike in his films. This brings together a prestigious team of creators.

This time, ABEMA has decided to offer an early streaming of the series. The new PV is available on ABEMA, as well as on ABEMA Anime’s official X, YouTube, and TikTok channels.
