"MahoPri 2" is a sequel to the series "Witchy Precure!" which aired in 2016, depicting events a few years after the conclusion of its predecessor. The story follows 20-year-old college student Mirai Asahina and 19-year-old Riko Izayoi (voiced by Yui Horie) as they discover a new crisis threatening the magical world and the non-magical world, transforming into Precure once again.

Episode 7: "The One Who Governs Time"
[Synopsis]
Aile, petrified by Chronosto's power, is to be thoroughly investigated in the magical world. Meanwhile, Mirai and her friends question Kotoha about what has transpired so far. According to Kotoha, Aile's goal is to fully resurrect the Beast of Time, Chronosto, by feeding it Felice's power and use that strength to make the time when he was happy eternal. To thwart this ambition, Kotoha created Hisui and entrusted her with power, sending her to Mirai and her friends. Although Mirai and Riko rejoice at reuniting with Kotoha, they cannot shake the sadness of Hisui's disappearance... Amidst this, Mirai's friend Souta is attacked by Chronosto's shadow. The shadow, which absorbs the "time" of those who reject the future to gain strength, tries to tempt Cure Miracle by saying, "If you go back to the past, you can meet Hisui again." However, with Kotoha's advice, Cure Miracle resists the temptation, repels Chronosto's shadow, and restores Souta's time.
