The anime 'Bogus "Skill Fruitmaster" ~About that time I became able to eat unlimited numbers of Skill Fruits (that kill you)~' (hereafter referred to as "Bogus Skill Fruitmaster") had a special program "Bogus Skill Fruitmaster - On the Matter of Being Able to Reflect with the Cast" that was broadcast live for free exclusively on ABEMA on February 11th (Tuesday holiday).

The program featured Takuma Nagatsuka (who plays Light), Lynn (who plays Lena), Haruna Mikawa (who plays Ayla), and Hana Tamegai (who plays Monica). In a world where you can gain special abilities by eating "Skill Fruits," the story unfolds with a boy named Light who possesses the seemingly useless skill "Fruitmaster," which specializes in cultivating berries without any combat abilities. However, Light discovers the true potential of "Fruitmaster" — the ability to eat the "Skill Fruits," which are said to be deadly if consumed more than once, repeatedly and gain unlimited abilities. This realization propels him to rise as an adventurer in this success fantasy.

We first look back at the story so far with the favorite scenes chosen by the cast. Nagatsuka selected the scene from Episode 1 where Light slices an ogre in half with his special move, "Rekkizan." He spoke about his emotional connection to this scene, as it marks the beginning of Light's journey by defeating a formidable enemy that even seasoned adventurers struggle with.

Regarding audition anecdotes, he revealed, "I was cast for the role of Light because my performance of the special move's shout was the best, according to Mr. Matsukoto!" He shared that the moment he first shouted the special move "Rekkizan" left a lasting impression on him.
