The Episode 8 of the Anime "Medalist" based on a popular figure skating manga that swept numerous manga awards, is currently airing in succession from February 22nd. In this episode, titled "The Mighty Competitor from the West (Part 1)," Tsukasa Akeuraji (voiced by Takeo Otsuka) goes all out to save Inori Yuitsuka (voiced by Natsumi Haruse) from a major predicament just before the performance. This scene impressed viewers, with reactions such as "This coach is truly amazing" and "That's an unbelievable amount of sweat."

In the episode, just before her turn, Inori realizes she has left her skate shoes on the train. With her performance time rapidly approaching, Tsukasa decides to go retrieve them, saying, "I'll go get them," and makes the decision to travel ten stations away.
