"MahoPri 2" is the sequel to "Witchy Precure!" which aired in 2016. The story takes place several years after the conclusion of the previous series, depicting 20-year-old college student Mirai Asahina and 19-year-old Riko Izayoi (voiced by Yui Horie) as they learn of a new threat approaching both the magical world and the non-magical world, prompting them to transform into Precure once again.

Episode 8: Kotoha and Hisui
[Synopsis]
As a result of their investigation in the magical realm, it was revealed that Aile's mother was a former resident of the magical world and that Aile lost both of his parents at a young age. Furthermore, a message from the queen of the Fairy Village disclosed that Hisui resides within Kotoha. However, Mirai and her friends couldn't grasp the meaning of this, leaving them completely baffled. Amidst this, an incident occurred where Mirai's friend, Sara, was turned into a statue by Chronosto's shadow. Additionally, Chronosto's shadow also turned Kotoha into a statue, trapping her in the past. Kotoha wandered through the happy times she spent with Mirai and Riko, and during this, she saw Hisui's figure. With Hisui's guidance, Kotoha escaped from Chronosto's shadow's spell, and transforming into Cure Felice with the Linkle Smartphone that appeared, she defeated the monster created by Chronosto's shadow. Understanding the meaning of Hisui residing within Kotoha, Mirai and her friends gathered around a pot, cherishing the happy time together.
