The manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, is currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan). The story is set in a world "after" the Demon King has been defeated by the hero and his party, and depicts the journey of Frieren, a wizard who has lived for over a thousand years and helped defeat the Demon King with the hero, and the people she meets along the way.

The story, which unfolds in a novel timeline "after the Demon King's defeat," features heartfelt drama and lines, battles with magic and swords, and unexpected humor woven by the characters, and has gained many readers.
