In episode 22 of the anime "My Happy Marriage," which began broadcasting on March 3rd, Kiyoka Kudo (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa) falls to a deadly bullet right in front of Miyo Saimori (voiced by Reina Ueda). Kiyoka, who is falsely accused, is taken away while covered in blood, but not before confessing his feelings to Miyo. This unexpected turn of events caused chaos on social media, with comments like, "It happened so suddenly that I started crying, why?"
In her dream, Miyo witnesses the moment Sumi Usuba said goodbye to Naoshi Usui. However, it wasn't Miyo's dream; she had entered Usui's dream using her "Dream Seeing Power." There, Usui speaks of his intention to restore the world to its original state, where those with Usuba's power rule the country, and to dedicate this new world to Miyo.
Usui reveals with a faint smile that in order to awaken Miyo's supernatural ability as the "Dream Seeing Priestess," he plans to target Kiyoka Kudo. At that moment, Miyo wakes up and rushes outside to check the situation. Gazing at the falling snow, she recalls the words of Takaihito, who possesses the power of prophecy, "When the Dream Seeing Flowers are disturbed by snow, the curtain of night will fall."
Believing that Kiyoka is in danger, Miyo attempts to go warn him but is blocked by a monstrous figure. Usui's whisper echoes in her ear, "Go ahead and scream for help. If you do, your beloved Kiyoka Kudo will surely come to your aid."
Ignoring Usui's words, Miyo tries to use her dream-seeing power to resolve the situation, but her power is too immature to be effective. Just as she utters "My husband..." Kiyoka rushes in and swiftly dispatches the monstrous figure.
As Kiyoka turns to Miyo with a smile, appearing to have resolved everything, a dry gunshot rings out, and blood splatters on the accumulated snow. Kiyoka, shot near the right chest and left flank, collapses to his knees. "You're too naive, Kudo-san," says Miyo's cousin, Usuba Arata (voiced by Ryohei Kimura), who appears holding a gun.
Arata tells Miyo, "It's all for Usuba and you," and captures Kiyoka as a great criminal who threatens the emperor. Just before being taken away, the severely injured Kiyoka asks Arata for a moment to speak to Miyo, saying, "I won't regret saying this. I love you. I should have said it sooner."
