A special talk between Tsurumaikada, the creator of the anime 'Medalist,' and Kenshi Yonezu has been released. Furthermore, footage from a special show held in February has also been made available.
The anime 'Medalist' is based on the comic by Tsurumaikada, which is currently serialized in Kodansha's monthly seinen manga magazine, "Monthly Afternoon." The manga has received numerous awards, including first place in the Comic Division of the "Next Manga Award 2022" and the General Division of the "48th Kodansha Manga Award."
The special talk between Tsurumaikada and Kenshi Yonezu has been published on the anime's official website. Kenshi Yonezu shares behind-the-scenes stories of his music production and his thoughts on the work.
Additionally, footage from the show held during the event on February 16th (Sunday) has been released. The main cast members Natsumi Haruse and Takeo Otsuka, along with professional figure skater Akiko Suzuki, who also handled the figure skating choreography, appeared on stage. Viewers can watch exclusive footage featuring Akiko Suzuki's original choreography set to the opening theme song by Kenshi Yonezu, "BOW AND ARROW."
