Scientists Are Not Just Senku! Episode 9 of "Dr. STONE" Season 4, An Intense Turn of Events Entrusted to Chrome, Fans Say "Mentor and Disciple" and "Touching"

On March 6, the 9th episode of the anime "Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE" (currently airing) showcased a dramatic turn of events where the Kingdom of Science's leader, Senku Ishigami (voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi), suffers a severe injury, and Chrome (voiced by Gen Sato) is entrusted with the role of a scientist in his stead. The internet buzzed with excitement, with comments like "This is seriously intense" and "I'm crying buckets."

In the 9th episode of Season 4 of "Dr. STONE," titled "The Light of Science," Senku is severely injured after being shot. Meanwhile, the group inspecting to capture the "dark scientist" Dr. Xeno (voiced by Kenji Nojima) considers digging a tunnel with the power of science to infiltrate Xeno's castle.

However, a message encoded with a cipher from their comrades brings the news that “Senku has been shot.” With no choice but to dig the tunnel without relying on science, a cryptic message containing just three characters, "Chrome," is sent from Senku.

Chrome, the designated scientist, recalls his past interactions with Senku. Realizing that he has been entrusted with this role as a “scientist,” he displays a determined expression.
