The anime 'Beheneko' is based on a popular comic by Taro Shinonome and Nozomi Ginyoku. The comic has sold over 1.2 million copies in total. The protagonist (CV: Tasuku Hatanaka, CV for the cat: Rio Sugiyama), who is reincarnated as a young S-rank monster 'Behemoth' but looks completely like a kitten, encounters Aria, a novice D-rank adventurer, and goes on adventures together as her pet 'Tama'.

Awaiting them there is Vassago, one of the Four Demon Clans. Vassago summons the extraordinarily powerful and rank-unknown monsters "Cyclops" and "Orthrus," cornering Aria and her team.
