— The 'Macross' series is still going strong with new diva auditions being held. Could you tell us your favorite characters and songs from the series

Merrry：My favorite character is, of course, Mylene Jenius. My favorite song is the ending theme "MY FRIENDS". I was captivated by the wonderful singing voice and the illustrations by Haruhiko Mikimoto. In other series, I love Lynn Minmay and the movie version of 'Macross' "Angel's Paints". I often mimicked that toe-tapping move (laughs).

— What are the points you like about this cosplay?

Merrry：My favorite point is the bass. My husband, who is into modeling, modified a real bass to create it. It has a weighty feel and looks great in photos, so I really like it.

— Is there any cosplay you would like to try in the future?

Merrry：Mylene changes her outfits and hairstyles almost every time, so I hope to eventually complete all her costumes.
