A collaboration between the anime "Tokyo Ghoul" and "Dead by Daylight" has been announced. The main character 'Ken Kaneki' will appear as a new killer.
"Tokyo Ghoul" is an anime based on a popular manga by Sui Ishida, which has surpassed 47 million copies in total worldwide. Set in a world where monstrous "ghouls" that eat people exist, the story follows the main character, Ken Kaneki, who becomes a half-ghoul due to a certain accident, and gets involved in the battle between humans and ghouls. The story, which delicately depicts Kaneki's conflict as a "half-ghoul" and the human drama of the characters living in a dark world, gained popularity, and the TV anime was broadcast over 4 seasons, and it became a big hit with two live-action movie adaptations.
"Dead by Daylight" is a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer horror game, and in the collaboration, the main character of the anime "Tokyo Ghoul", Ken Kaneki, will appear as a new killer 'The Ghoul'.
Kaneki uses 'The Ghoul’s Kagune Tentacles', and with its special ability, it is possible to move quickly around the map using the tentacles that pop out from his back. Furthermore, when an attack is successful, 'Enraged Mode' is activated, and the strength, ferocity, and speed of the ghoul dramatically increase, bringing further fear to the survivors.
The collaboration chapter 'Dead by Daylight|Tokyo Ghoul' PTB (Public Test Build) will start as a limited time on Steam from 0:00 on March 12, 2025 (Wednesday).
In the 'Tokyo Ghoul Collection' to be released on April 3, legendary coordinates for Kaneki, 'Rize Kamishiro', and masks designed for Unknown, Jonah Vasquez, Jake Park, and David King will also appear.
