In episode 10 of the anime "Sakamoto Days" which aired on March 15 (and is being broadcast sequentially), the character Lo Wutang, also known as "Wutang" (voiced by Mizunaka Masaaki), made his first appearance. Although Wutang is a competent character, he made a grand misunderstanding over "a certain word," thinking "what a scandalous sound," leading viewers to laugh with comments like "That's not what it means!" and "He's too much of a disappointing handsome guy."
In episode 10, "Bathhouse Roughhouse," the members of Sakamoto Store are dining at a family restaurant when a mysterious man points a gun at Taro Sakamoto (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita). Sakamoto swiftly counterattacks. Watching the man collapse, "Lu," whose real name is Lo Shaotang (voiced by Ayane Sakura) calls out his name, asking, "Are you Wutang?"
As it turns out, Wutang is a competent consiliere (advisor) in the mafia organization where Lu used to belong. Wutang requests Lu to return as the head of the mafia, but she refuses, saying, "Anyone who wants to be the head can do it themselves!" Wutang then has a nosebleed and internally exclaims, "C-cute!!!" Lu introduces him as "a weirdly obsessed, meddlesome, perverted consiliere."
