The anime 'Medalist' is based on the comic by Tsurumaikada, serialized in Kodansha's monthly seinen magazine "Monthly Afternoon". It has won numerous awards, including first place in the Comics Division of the "Next Manga Awards 2022" and the General Division of the "48th Kodansha Manga Award".
