The "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-" series, commonly known as "Re:ZERO," is based on a popular novel with a worldwide cumulative circulation of over 13 million copies, including digital versions. The original work is by Tappei Nagatsuki, with illustrations by Shinichiro Otsuka. It is a dark fantasy about Subaru Natsuki (voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi), who suddenly finds himself in another world and confronts a harsh fate using his ability to "Return by Death," which allows him to go back in time upon dying. The first season of the anime aired in 2016, and the series has become a massive hit with the production of a second season and OVA. The first part of the third season, "Assault Arc," consisting of eight episodes, aired in 2024, and the second part, "Counterattack Arc," has now started.

Synopsis:
While waiting for Felt to return with the meteor, Otto and the others hold their position but are teased by the nimble Lye, with time slipping away. Meanwhile, at the control tower in the second district, Julius and Ricardo struggle against another Gluttony, Roy. Roy seems to evade Julius’s spirit arts and Ricardo’s large axe as if he knows everything about them. Delighted by the equally matched battle, Roy unexpectedly mentions Ricardo's name, which was supposed to be kept secret.
