This is the Pose of the "God of the New World"! Light's Defiant Pose When Cornered in "DEATH NOTE" is Uniquely Creative

In the final episode of the anime "DEATH NOTE," the protagonist Light Yagami (voiced by Mamoru Miyano) finally admits to being Kira. Despite facing defeat, he declares "I am Kira" as if triumphant, and strikes a pose proclaiming himself as the "God of the New World" - a pose that's somehow both divine and ripe for criticism...

On the day of the final showdown with Near (voiced by Noriko Hidaka), Light was absolutely certain of his victory. His plan was for his devoted follower, Teru Mikami (voiced by Masaya Matsukaze), to write down the names of everyone gathered in the warehouse except Light's in the Death Note, killing them all.

According to Light's plan, Mikami wrote all the names, and after 40 seconds, everyone was supposed to die of heart attacks one by one. However, even after the scheduled time passed, not a single person died.

The reason was that Near had tampered with the Death Note. The notebook that Mikami believed to be real was actually an elaborate fake that had been switched out. The real Death Note was hidden by Near.

Just before the count reached 40, Light had declared victory to Near, saying, "Near, I've won!" This was tantamount to confessing that he was Kira. Moreover, the fact that Light's name was the only one missing from those Mikami had written became decisive evidence.

Finding himself in a situation where he could no longer make excuses, Light became frantic, claiming it was all a trap set by Near to frame him. He even tried to disown Mikami, saying, "I don't know such a person!"
