"JUJUTSU KAISEN Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc Compilation Film" Main Trailer and Theme Song "Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.)" Released, Along with 10 Trailer Cuts

The main trailer for the anime "JUJUTSU KAISEN Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc Compilation Film" has been released. Alongside the trailer, the theme song "Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.)", which is an arrangement of the TV series' opening theme for the movie, has also been unveiled. An official comment from Tatsuya Kitani, who is responsible for the music, has been received.

The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation. The story, which depicts the battles between curses born from human negative emotions and the sorcerers who exorcise them, begins to unfold significantly when Yuji Itadori, who ends up sharing a body with the "King of Curses" Ryomen Sukuna, transfers to the "Jujutsu High," a specialized institution for dealing with curses.

The first season of the TV anime, which started in October 2020, garnered significant attention not only domestically but worldwide. The second season of the anime, which aired from July to December 2023, depicted the story of "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death," focusing on the past of the "strongest sorcerer" Satoru Gojo and the "most evil curse user" Suguru Geto during their high school days, as well as the "Shibuya Incident," continuing from the timeline of the first season. The sequel, "Culling Game," is currently in production, and the "JUJUTSU KAISEN Hidden Inventory/Premature Death Arc Compilation Film" is set to be released on May 30, 2025.

As the special compilation of all five episodes of the TV series approaches its release, the main trailer has finally been unveiled. This work depicts past episodes from the high school days of the "strongest duo," Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto. Along with the footage capturing the highlights of the story, the theme song has also been released! The theme song for this special compilation is "Ao no Sumika (Acoustic ver.)," an arranged version of the TV series' opening theme, and its emotional music gently colors the story.

Additionally, the entire music has been remixed to fit the 5.1ch surround sound environment of theaters, with some tracks rearranged specifically for the movie version.
