Gakuto Kajiwara Cast as Sigma in Anime "Fate/strange Fake"! "Character Visuals" vol.8 & 9 Also Released!

It was announced at the "Fate/strange Fake" AnimeJapan Special Stage that Gakuto Kajiwara has been cast as Sigma. Additionally, "Character Visuals" vol.8 & 9, drawn by Yukei Yamada, who serves as the character designer and chief animation director, have been released.

"Fate/strange Fake," a new battle for the "Holy Grail" written by Ryohgo Narita, known for "Baccano!" and the "Durarara!!" series, has been published by Dengeki Bunko since 2015 and is finally being adapted into a TV anime.

Set in the United States, a first for the "Holy Grail War" stage, this story depicts the death matches and chaos involving numerous mages (Masters) and heroic spirits (Servants). The production is by A-1 Pictures, which handled "Fate/Apocrypha" in 2017.

Furthermore, up-and-coming directors Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume, who have consistently shown new visual expressions in "Fate/Grand Order" animation CMs and original novel animation CMs, are directing, bringing the story to life in a dynamic and bold animation.

Gakuto Kajiwara Cast as Sigma!

Gakuto Kajiwara made a surprise appearance at the "Fate/strange Fake" AnimeJapan Special Stage held on March 23 (Sunday) at AnimeJapan 2025, where it was announced that he would be playing the role of Sigma.

New "Character Visuals" Released!

"Character Visuals" vol.8 & 9 have been released. Vol.8 features Flat & Berserker, and vol.9 features Sigma, all drawn by Yukei Yamada, who serves as the character designer and chief animation director.

Furthermore, to commemorate the release of the character visuals, cast comments have been published.
