In episode 35 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries" (airing sequentially), broadcast on March 21, there was a scene where Maomao (CV: Aoi Yuki) places her hand on Jinshi's (CV: Takeo Otsuka) cheek while in her underwear to examine his condition. Viewers were excited by Jinshi's blushing, with comments like "It makes me grin" and "The lack of personal space is amazing" flooding in.

Episode 35, "The Hunt," features Jinshi being invited on a hunt, heading to Shihoku Province in disguise with a mask. However, Jinshi, overcome by the heat, steps outside during a meal. As Maomao follows to treat him, they are suddenly attacked by unknown assailants.

The two manage to escape into a cave behind a waterfall, where they are forced to remove their wet clothes to dry.
