Anime 'Togen Anki' to Air Nationwide in July 2025 on "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" Slot; Second PV & Key Visuals Released

The anime 'Togen Anki' is set to air nationwide on 30 networks starting from July 2025, every Friday at 11 PM on the Nippon TV network's "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" slot. Additionally, the second promotional video (PV) and the second key visual have been unveiled.

'Togen Anki,' based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten) by Yura Urushibara, is a new-generation dark hero demon tale. It uses the well-known Japanese folklore "Momotaro" as its theme, depicting the conflict between those who inherit the blood of demons and those who inherit the blood of Momotaro.

On March 22nd (Saturday) at the Pony Canyon booth stage during "AnimeJapan 2025", a stage event for the TV anime 'Togen Anki', which is scheduled to air from July 2025, was held. Four cast members attended: Waki Ura (as Shiki Ichinose), Kotaro Nishiyama (as Jin Kogosaki), Kaito Miura (as Rokuro Kiriyama), and Aimi (as Kuina Sazanami).

During the stage event, new information was revealed. Firstly, the second PV was released. This PV predominantly showcases new scenes centered around the protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, who discovers he is a "demon" and enters the demon training school "Rasetsu Academy."

The opening theme song, "OVERNIGHT" by THE ORAL CIGARETTES, which is full of a sense of speed, can be heard in this PV. Additionally, it was announced that Ryohei Kimura will voice a new character, Kyoya Oiranzaka, the General Captain of the support unit of the Demon Agency's Kyoto Branch. Following this, the second key visual was also released, depicting the Rasetsu Academy members led by their instructor, Mujin Mudano, advancing through an eerie underground illuminated by red light.

The show will be available for viewing on 30 networks nationwide every Friday at 11 PM on the Nippon TV network's "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT" slot starting from July 2025. Finally, as the third phase of the 'Togen Anki' project following the stage play and anime, a smartphone game adaptation is set for release in 2025. A PV featuring thrilling battle scenes utilizing 3D models has also been released.
