This Craziness... Makes You Want to Root for It! The Handmade Charm of "GUND-ARM Inc.'s" PV is Absolutely Addictive

Episode 8 of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," titled "Their Choice," stands apart from battles and conspiracy dramas, symbolizing the multifaceted nature of the series. Overflowing with amateurishness, fans have been captivated by the "GUND-ARM Inc.'s" promotional video, which is so tacky that you can't help but watch it.

This episode depicted the establishment of a new company, "GUND-ARM Inc.," founded by the heroine Miorine Rembran (voiced by Lynn), and its PR activities to promote its business. However, the key promotional video turned out to be a "strongly quirky piece" full of nostalgic handmade charm and mysterious vigor.

Miorine aims to apply GUND technology for medical purposes instead of weapons, paving the way for a future that saves lives. To convey this vision, the members of Earth House and Suletta Mercury (voiced by Kana Ichinose) collaborated to create the PV. However, the finished video was, in every sense, "unlike any corporate PR."

In the PV shown in the episode, Suletta and others appear while awkwardly dancing and delivering a somewhat monotonous message, "Safe to ride, secure to move, fly! Dance! Aerial~!" In the background, a clearly CG goat suddenly appears and then disappears as if nothing happened in the next cut, filled with moments begging for commentary.
