The series is based on a highly popular comic that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine from 2015 to 2022 and has surpassed 20 million copies in total global circulation. The first season aired in 2019, followed by the second season in 2020. The third season, spanning two split cours, is set to broadcast from April 2025 and January 2026.
