A Dog at the Perfect Time... "Sulking Mode Jinshi" Has Fans Saying "He's So Upset, LOL" - Episode 36 of "The Apothecary Diaries"

In Episode 36 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries," which began airing sequentially from March 28th, a heart-pounding scene was depicted where Jinshi (voiced by Takeo Otsuka) pushes Maomao (voiced by Aoi Yuki) down. However, as an interruption occurs and Jinshi shows his discontent, the internet buzzed with reactions like "Sulking Jinshi-sama, lol" and "Too bad, lol."

Previously, Maomao and Jinshi were attacked by an assassin and took refuge in a cave. In Episode 36, titled "Ka Zuigetsu," Maomao accidentally touched Jinshi's groin and realized he had something that a castrated eunuch shouldn't have. However, to avoid trouble, Maomao pretended that she had touched a "decent-sized frog." This led Jinshi to gently push her down, asking, "Want to confirm?"

Just as Jinshi's lips neared Maomao's, a dog's bark was heard from a hole in the ceiling. Maomao quickly whistled, causing a dog to fall through the hole and land on Jinshi. Furthermore, Lihaku (voiced by Kenji Akabane) also arrived, and Maomao and the others were safely rescued from the cave, leaving Jinshi completely sulking.
