"Chiikawa" is a popular manga series created by illustrator Nagano, starting its serialization in 2020 on X (formerly Twitter). It won the Grand Prix at the "Japan Character Awards 2022" and again in 2024. The series is loved by a wide audience, from adults to children, due to the contrast between its cute characters and a somewhat harsh world setting, amassing over 3.85 million followers.

The anime version of "Chiikawa" airs within Fuji TV's "Mezamashi TV" every Tuesday and Friday around 7:40 a.m. Starting April 2025, there will be a three-month hiatus for new episodes, during which time episodes that had a significant impact in the past will be rebroadcast. Additionally, the first-ever "Chiikawa" smartphone app, "Chiikawa Pocket," was released on March 27 and is available in 43 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States.
