The anime "The Apothecary Diaries" is based on a light novel by Natsu Hyuga. It has also been adapted into a comic book, with a total of over 40 million copies in the series. Despite being attacked by an assassin with a flying dart, Maomao and Jinshi manage to escape into a cave behind a waterfall. As they try to escape from the cave, Maomao realizes a secret that Jinshi has been hiding. Jinshi decides to reveal the secret himself, but... Meanwhile, at the banquet where Jinshi and the others have disappeared, a messenger informs Basen that "the master's clothes were found on the rocks, suggesting he may have been washed away," causing a stir. However, this was a secret plan by Maomao and the others to expose the dart-wielding culprit.
