"I Bought It Openly" - Yami-chan Cosplayer's First Encounter with 'To Love-Ru' Was in Elementary School!

——What aspects did you focus on for Yami-chan's cosplay?

Kani Nyan：Since there wasn't a costume in my size, I imported it from abroad, and I folded the boots a bit to make them resemble the original. I don't usually go to stores to buy wigs, but I wanted to be particular about it, so I went to see the wig color in person. The taiyaki plushie was a bonus. There are still many improvements to be made, like adjusting the costume and hair accessories.

—— Can you tell us when you first discovered "To Love-Ru" and your feelings towards Yami-chan?

Kani Nyan：I first encountered the series when I was really young, around elementary school... I think it's something everyone comes across at some point. Even though I knew it was a bit challenging to buy such a work at that age, I bought it without hesitation.

Among the characters, Yami-chan was a perfect match for me, both in appearance and personality. I've always loved blonde characters. Her favorite food being taiyaki was also adorable, and I really love that about her.
