"Chiikawa" is a popular manga posted on X (formerly Twitter) by illustrator Nagano, which started in 2020. It won the Grand Prix at the "Japan Character Award 2022" and the "Japan Character Award 2024" announced in July 2024. The gap between the cute little characters and the severe worldview has gained popularity among both adults and children, and the number of followers has exceeded 3.85 million to date.

The anime version of "Chiikawa" is broadcast on Fuji TV's "Mezamashi TV" every Tuesday and Friday around 7:40 a.m. From April 2025, new broadcasts will be suspended for about three months, and episodes that received a lot of feedback in the past will be revived.
