The series "Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai," currently serialized in Magazine Pocket, has been officially announced for a TV anime adaptation in 2026. Alongside this announcement, the first teaser PV and teaser visual have been released, and an illustration and comment from the original creator, Shinya Misu, have also arrived.
"Osananajimi to wa Love Comedy ni Naranai" is a romantic comedy work by Shinya Misu, serialized in "Magapoke" (Kodansha).
The story revolves around the high school boy, E-yu-, who has a dilemma: his two childhood friends, Shio and Akari, are just too cute! Even though they don't seem to have any romantic interest, E-yu- feels embarrassed thinking about how he's the only one seeing them in a more mature, possibly inappropriate light. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to him, the two girls also have feelings for E-yu-...!? All the heroines are childhood friends. A frustrating love triangle is portrayed.
