"Mobile Suit Gundam" - What If... The Critical Mistake of Zeon Soldier Gene That Turned Amuro Into the "White Devil"

If only he hadn't done that unnecessary thing at that time... The opening of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam" sees the course of fate take a dramatic turn due to a single blunder by a Zeon soldier. Who could have predicted that his actions would transform an ordinary boy into the legendary pilot feared as the "White Devil of the Federation"?

In the first episode, a reconnaissance team from the Principality of Zeon, under the command of Char Aznable (voiced by Shuichi Ikeda), infiltrates Side 7, where the protagonist Amuro Ray (voiced by Toru Furuya) resides. Their mission was purely reconnaissance, but upon discovering that the Earth Federation Forces were developing mobile suits, Gene (voiced by Kazuyuki Sogabe) disregards the orders of Sergeant Denim and independently initiates an attack.

"I rose through the ranks by winning battles on the battlefield!" Gene, not hiding his ambition to achieve success and promotion like the young Char, ironically gives birth to an "enemy ace."

Amuro was not even a military personnel, just an ordinary civilian. He was so engrossed in tinkering with machines that he didn't notice the commotion until his girlfriend, Fraw Bow, visited his home to urge him to evacuate. Even when he finally heard her voice, he responded with an annoyed "You're being noisy," showing not the slightest hint of a fighter's spirit.

However, Gene's rampage changes the fate of Amuro, who had taken refuge in the escape capsule. The explosion caused by the Zaku's attack on the base, the secret documents of the Gundam that he accidentally obtained in the chaos. Then Amuro meets his father, a soldier, and a mobile suit.
