What are the tricks hidden in Madoka's cosplay of "MadoMagi" to express the fluffy spread of her skirt?

——What inspired you to cosplay as Madoka Kaname from 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica'?

Sakuna: The reason I started was that I watched the 'Madoka Magica' anime and got completely hooked. My favorite characters are Madoka and Homura, and I was really torn between which one to cosplay as. After much deliberation, I decided to cosplay Madoka first.

——What aspects did you want to express with this cosplay, and what are your favorite points about it?

Sakuna: I really wanted to express the fluffy spread of the skirt, so I was very particular about choosing the petticoat. The big ribbons and the Soul Gem attached to various parts of the costume are incredibly cute and have that magical girl vibe, which I love!

——'MadoMagi' remains popular, with a mobile game release and more. Can you tell us when you first encountered the series and what parts you find appealing?

Sakuna: I had been curious about 'MadoMagi' for quite a while, but I didn't have a way to watch it. I finally got to engage with the series properly recently—in December of last year. I really love the world-building and character design of 'MadoMagi,' and I find that there's always something new to discover every time I watch it, which is a huge part of its appeal for me.
