From "Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia," a TV anime adaptation has been decided, and a special teaser PV has been released. Additionally, a celebratory illustration and comment have arrived from the original author, Tomato Soup.

"Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia" is a harem tale set in 13th-century Mongolia. It depicts the story of Sitara (Fatima), a former slave girl who becomes a prisoner of the Mongol Empire, as she meets Doregene, the sixth wife of the Mongol emperor who also harbors complex feelings towards the empire, and together they use their wits to shake the empire. The manga has garnered much attention, winning first place in Takarajimasha's "This Manga is Amazing! 2023" for women and ranking in the "Manga Taisho" in both 2023 and 2024.

The animation is produced by Science SARU, acclaimed worldwide for its overwhelming quality in works like "DAN DA DAN," "The Heike Story," and "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!"

The celebratory illustration features a cute depiction of Sitara and Doregene in an old cartoon style, with a backdrop of grasslands and tents celebrating the anime adaptation. The image of a lamb joyfully alongside Sitara is also striking.

Moreover, a special teaser PV using illustrations from the original manga has been released following the TV anime adaptation decision. The PV, set to West Asian-style music, introduces Sitara, Doregene, and the story of the series. Within the PV, the title logo of the TV anime is also unveiled, expressing the essence of the work while building anticipation for the TV anime, distinct from the original manga’s logo.

"Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia" is scheduled to air on TV Asahi network.
