The anime "APOCALYPSEHOTEL" episode 2 is now airing from April 15th. Many viewers erupted in laughter over the striking new "function" added to the "hotelier robot" Yachiyo (voiced by Saho Shirasu).
"APOCALYPSEHOTEL," which began airing on April 8th, is set on Earth after humans are gone, depicting the robot workers of the hotel "Gingaro." Episode 1 showcased Yachiyo and the others working tirelessly to maintain the hotel despite having no guests for about 100 years, making it ready to welcome guests again.
In episode 2, titled "Innovating Tradition with Playfulness," finally, after 100 years, a guest—a Traveler Alien (voiced by Yukihiro Nozuyama)—arrives at Gingaro. Having successfully served the traveler alien, Yachiyo was equipped with a new function: a "boiling pot." Hot water poured from Yachiyo's mouth like a waterfall. Upon seeing this, the Environment Checker Robot (voiced by Shinichirō Miki) excitedly exclaimed, "Wow! Eating noodles just got easier!"
Yachiyo's new function had viewers exclaiming, "I laughed out loud in the middle of the night," "Hot water from there?!" and "A hot water dispenser mouth is hilarious."
