Special Day for Anime "The Catcher in the Ballpark!" on May 17th (Sat)! Limited Edition Card Giveaway and Original Design Beer for Sale

An event will take place on May 17th, 2025 (Sat) for the Chiba Lotte Marines vs. Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters featuring the anime "The Catcher in the Ballpark!"

The anime is based on a manga serialized in Kodansha's "Morning" by Tatsuro Suga. It is a comedy drama filled with smiles and tears, set in a pro baseball stadium, featuring a flashy beer vendor named Ruriko (voiced by Fairouz Ai) and Murata (voiced by Satoshi Inomata), who gets involved with her.

The key visual for the game, dubbed "The Catcher in the Ballpark! Special Day," is an original illustration by the anime’s creator, Tatsuro Suga. As a gift for attendees, a limited edition card with the same design will be given to the first 20,000 visitors.

Additionally, beer will be sold in cups featuring the "The Catcher in the Ballpark!" original design, and there will be an SNS-linked campaign where participants can win a poster autographed by the players. Furthermore, applications are being accepted for "STARTING KIDS," which allows participation on the field with players before the game starts.
