Jinshi Gets Up Close and Personal with Maomao with a "Chin Lift"! "Listen to People Until the End" - Episode 39 of the Anime "The Apothecary Diaries"

In episode 39 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries," which has been airing since April 18, Jinshi (voiced by Takeo Otsuka) offers a condition to Maomao (voiced by Aoi Yuki) while getting up close and personal with a "chin lift." Jinshi's sudden approach had the internet buzzing with comments like "That chin lift was intense."

In episode 39, titled "Frozen Dessert," the ice that was to be presented to Consort Loran gets accidentally broken by Xiaolan (voiced by Misaki Kuno). To help Xiaolan, Maomao decides to quickly come up with an alternative frozen dessert that Consort Loran desires.

Reluctantly, Maomao asks Jinshi, "Could you lend me the kitchen and some ingredients?" In response, Jinshi presses closer with a "chin lift" and says, "Then let's add a condition." He reminds Maomao, who previously didn’t listen to an important conversation, "Listen to what people have to say until the end."
